Simon began sim racing at 15 years of age, initially starting in WRC. He later transitioned to F1 however, in search of a more realistic and immersive racing experience, Simon made the switch to iRacing at the beginning 2025. Since joining iRacing, his primary focus has been on GT3 competition and endurance racing, with a recent transition the LMP2 class as he continues to broaden his skill set.

Octane Racing is the first professional team he joined, marking an important step his sim racing career and providing a strong foundation for his development in team-based and endurance competition. While he may not always find it easy to explain concepts in a formal manner, Simon is highly committed to supporting and coaching other drivers. His tailored approach based on individual needs, whether that involves improving cornering technique, tyre management, or overall race consistency. His goal is always to help drivers progress in the areas that matter most to them.
