After months of practice, Nandor Gabriel Oproescu competed in the IMSA Sprint Race at Road America, driving the Cadillac V-Series.R GTP. In an impressive performance, he secured his first podium finish in the GTP class, taking 2nd place. During his post-race interview, Nandor shared his thoughts on the challenges of mastering the GTP category, calling these cars "tough to conquer." He admitted there were moments throughout the week when he almost considered stepping away from the class. However, his perseverance and determination ultimately paid off. Nandor expressed heartfelt gratitude to John Leddy, the USA Regional Manager of Octane Racing, for his invaluable training and support. He credited John, along with the entire Octane Racing team, affiliates, and sponsors, for helping him achieve this milestone.
